Varanasi , Feb 6- A day after their closure, all the three slaughter houses of the city have been re-opened flouting all the pollutions norms.

The district administration and the Municipal Corporation authority had on Wednesday sealed three slaughter houses in Beniabagh, Kamalgaraha and Ramala on the directive of the Pollution Control Board after a long drawn process as they were not following the pollution norms. According to the sources, after the sealing of the slaughter houses, some people met PWD Minister Naseemuddin Siddiqui regarding this and in no time the minister issued a directive to the Municipal Corporation to submit a report to the Board seeking permission to re-open them. The Board gave permission to reopen them with a condition that the district administration should search a site for slaughter houses outside the city.
